What the scent of your clothes says about you 

We tend to associate certain smells with people we know. This often happens when smelling a perfume that someone we love used to wear. But, this sometimes occurs to us with the smell of the fabric softener they wear for their clothes. Has this ever happened to you?

Laundry products like fabric softener or detergent are especially important for our own scent, our personal odour. The fragrance of these products makes us feel good, we perceive the freshness of our clothes and we are comfortable with the garments that we wear.  In addition, this fragrance has an effect on the people with whom we interact daily. They can soon associate that particular smell with us. Hence the importance of the fragrance of our clothes.

Actually, when doing grocery, we carefully choose the scent we like most for our laundry products. Some of us prefer a fresh scent while others select a stronger and floral one. However, there are always people who simply continue to try different brands until they feel they have found the right scent.

On the other hand, scented clothing can have more than a positive effect on us. Not only do we feel comfortable with nice smelling clothes, we also feel well-being when opening our closet and smell the appealing fragrance that comes out. Moreover, feeling identified with the essence of our clothes can help us to be more confident in our daily routine: meetings, conferences, speeches, appointments, dates, etc.
