Eurofragance’s Singapore Creative Center Receives the Visit of the President of the Government of Catalonia

Singapore, August 3, 2026 – The multinational fragrance house Eurofragance, headquartered in Barcelona, welcomed the Right Honorable President of the Government of Catalonia, Salvador Illa, to its Singapore facilities as part of his institutional visit to Southeast Asia aimed at strengthening economic ties and supporting the international expansion of Catalan companies.

The delegation was welcomed by Dolors Costa, Chief Creation Officer at Eurofragance, together with members of the company’s regional leadership team. The visit included a meeting with the regional leadership team and a guided tour of the Creative Center.

In addition to the Right Honorable President of the Government of Catalonia, the Honorable Mr. Salvador Illa, the delegation also included Mr. Antonio Garcia Rebollar, Honorary Vice President of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Singapore; Mr. Eduard Rivas, Chief of Staff to the President; Mr. Jaume Baró Torres, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ACCIÓ and Secretary for Business and Competitiveness; Mr. Josep Santacreu, President of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Enric Jové, Director of Institutional Relations at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce; and Mr. Jordi Maluquer, Director of ACCIÓ for Southeast Asia.

Representing Eurofragance were Antonio Valderrama, Operations Manager; Loh Peng Keong, Creative Center Manager APAC; Laia Martín, Head of Global Business Excellence; and Juanma Velasco, Perfumer.

During the visit, Eurofragance highlighted its international growth journey, its presence across Asia-Pacific and the strength of Catalonia’s perfumery sector on the global stage.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Singapore’s strategic role within Eurofragance’s global operations. Since establishing its subsidiary in the country in 2013, the multinational has developed a strong presence through its manufacturing facility, Creative Center and corporate offices, making Singapore a key operational and innovation hub for Eurofragance in the Asia-Pacific region.

The visit also highlighted the company’s contribution to the development of the fragrance industry in the region and its commitment to attracting and developing local and international talent.
Today, Eurofragance’s Asia-Pacific region employs 135 professionals, of whom 89 are based in Singapore. Its Creative Center brings together perfumers, evaluators and multidisciplinary teams across development, marketing and innovation to create fragrances tailored to regional and global market needs.

During the meeting with President Illa, Eurofragance shared its vision for continued growth across Asia-Pacific and emphasized the strategic role Singapore plays in supporting customers, fostering innovation and attracting international talent across the region.

As a member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Eurofragance maintains close ties with the Spanish business community and remains committed to contributing to Singapore’s economic development while reinforcing the connections between Catalonia and the Asia-Pacific region.
