Eurofragance Awarded EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Barcelona, April 10, 2024 – The Spanish fragrance house, Eurofragance, has been awarded the Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading providers of business sustainability ratings, in recognition of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.  The multinational earned the highest distinction for sustainability awarded by EcoVadis, which evaluates organizations on sustainability criteria across four core themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The fragrance company’s overall rating is 80 points out of a possible 100, placing it in the top 1 percentile of all EcoVadis evaluated organizations.  The rating, which is an improvement over last year’s score of 77 points, demonstrates the company’s continuous efforts towards greater sustainability.

Eurofragance has been participating in the EcoVadis assessment process since 2019, when the company received a Silver Medal, and continually demonstrates a strong commitment to push forward with its sustainability agenda.  “This accomplishment assures our partners and clients that they can rely on us to effectively contribute to their sustainability targets.  The EcoVadis recognition serves as a testament to our commitment to our business strategy, sustainability philosophy and quality across all aspects of our operations,” stated Laurent Mercier, Chief Executive Officer of Eurofragance.

The company’s local and international ESG efforts and results are published in the fragrance house’s annual Sustainability Report.
