Multisensorial fragrance experiences

Our Innovation to Market (ITM) and Sensolab teams work alongside the fragrance Creation Team to think of how the perfumes we design can be incorporated into your brands to offer your consumers an even more relevant and enjoyable product experience.  In their creative minds a fragrance can take on different shapes, textures or colors that can serve to reinforce your product’s promise. New product formulations, for instance, can support a more environmentally friendly positioning.

Hair Care

Shampoos and Conditioners

Strategic choices for hair care scents

In developing the perfume portfolio for your shampoo brand, ask yourself if all variants should have the same fragrance, or if a different scent for each offering makes more strategic sense.  We are ready to discuss such questions and are eager to create wonderful shampoo, conditioner and mask perfumes for you.

While it is critical to understand the competitive environment in all Personal Care categories and segments, this is one where Perfumers and FDMs need to show extensive breadth and depth of knowledge.  The professionals in our creative teams exhibit both. They are familiar with the latest trends, just like they know the “special” ingredients in our palette that your brand users are most likely to love in their shampoo fragrance.  If your brands are distributed in several countries, we can offer you our consulting and perfume evaluation services to establish if the same fragrance will be successful across borders or if perfume adjustments should be considered.

Styling and Coloration

Look, texture, color, touch and, of course, fragrance

We evaluate and develop fragrances; we don’t judge hairstyles.  Not only do we respect all your consumers’ preferred hair styles, but we are also happy to propose the most appropriate fragrance for your styling gels, sprays, creams, aerosols and more.

While this is one of the segments with the most fun and innovative products, we take it seriously when it comes to designing the fragrance of your different product offerings—even if we like to have fun too.  Eurofragance Perfumers have a few tricks up their sleeves they would be delighted to apply to your briefs in this hair care segment.  They also have technical know-how in fragrancing coloration products.  Because coloration products often have challenging base formulas to perfume, we have assigned dedicated experts to work on such briefs.  Whether you’re looking to fragrance an eccentric styling wax targeted at teenagers, or a deluxe coloration formula that hides gray hairs, we are game and ready to win your consumers’ hearts.

Body Care

Shower Gel

Add water and shower gel fragrances come to life

If the soap bar goes back over one thousand years, the invention of the shower gel, body wash and liquid soap are much more recent.  It doesn’t matter how you label your non-solid soap, in any of these different formats, we will assign creative and talented fragrance designers to your project.  The range of product offerings in this segment is extremely broad and so are the different claims that can accompany each format.  Gender, age and cultural background all play a role in how we can meet their perfume expectations.

This is also a segment subject to the latest conceptual trends as well as, and quite often, to the influence of successful Fine Fragrances of the moment.  The perfumes we design for shower gels can also incorporate our EuroBloom® technology, which guarantees a burst of fragrance when in use.  If interested, scientists in our Innovation Center are on hand to tell you more about EuroBloom®, while our Marketing experts have valuable insights to share on consumer habits, cultural preferences in this competitive landscape.

Body Care

Bar Soap

In praise of the lonely soap bar

The history of hygiene owes a lot to the city of Aleppo and its eponymous soap.  Early Levantine craftsmen set in motion a concept—washing and cleansing—that would spread across the world.  Presently, Eurofragance works with manufacturers large and small to fragrance this indispensable household staple.

Rare are the households, in any market, that don’t have some kind of bar soap on hand.  Your consumers probably expect particular properties when it comes to buying a bar of soap: antibacterial, sanitizing, moisturizing, cosmetic and many more.  Irrespective of the desired benefits or soap base type, our Creative Teams will propose a range of perfumes to support your brand’s promise.  When it comes to beauty soap bars, the olfactive possibilities are endless, from classic sandalwood to evocative gourmand desserts, not to mention classic middle eastern scents.

Body Care

Body Lotion

Fragrances to support body lotion claims

Your consumers expect a lot from the creams, lotions and milks you market to them.  Certain products hydrate, others can strengthen the skin barrier, while some repair and protect the skin.  Whatever the functional benefits might be, the fragrances in these body lotions must be perfectly aligned with the product promise and the claims you make.  Hydration does not smell the same as nourishment, and our Fragrance Development Managers know about these subtleties.

Our skin is our largest human organ, so wouldn’t it make sense to pay special attention to what scent it diffuses during the day?  The fragrances we design for this segment must also reflect important cultural differences between markets, and how pertinent certain ingredient stories might be for a particular target.  Our Marketing teams track the market internationally and work with the Creation Team to bring you body lotion concepts that smell great and also tell a convincing story.

Body Care

Antiperspirant/Deodorant

An introduction to fragrance for many of your consumers

Your consumers aren’t big fans of unpleasant odors—even a whiff of sweat is already too much.  At Eurofragance we design scents for products that control sweat and products that offer your consumers refreshing fragrance benefits.  With our help, and thanks to the solutions we offer you on our EuroPure® technology platform, your consumers will feel confident and attractive in all situations.

Whether sweating is mainly triggered by heat, effort or stress, your brand users can basically count on at least two different solutions: an antiperspirant or a deodorant, or possibly, a 2-in-1 product.  We’re ready to work on any format, but thanks to our extensive experience in Fine Fragrances, we have pertinent know-how that we can easily transfer to the deodorant segment.  For many young men and women, body sprays and body mists represent their first step into the world of fragrances; it’s a great opportunity to introduce them to the amazing world of perfumery.

Skin Care

Face Care

Communicating technical benefits through fragrances

We all remember the smell of our mother’s skin, but truth be told it was probably her face cream that we were actually smelling, when it wasn’t her favorite perfume.  These are beautiful and powerful olfactive memories.  Not only should the fragrances in face care products convey “beauty,” but they must also reinforce the technical benefits the product promises.  Our fragrance designers know how to translate claims such as “anti-aging,” “glowing” or “pH-balancing” into perfume.

The world of face care is also rich with a wide range of product formulations, which will also impact fragrance creation due to the active ingredients in the formula.  One can’t fragrance a cleansing cream the same way as a night cream or a rejuvenating serum.  Many of these high-end cosmetic products are intended to make your consumers dream; we just want to make sure their dreams are beautiful and perfectly fragranced.

Skin Care

Sunscreen

The happy scents of outdoor fun

Properly protecting one’s skin from the harmful effects of harmful UV rays is serious business, but there is also something inherently pleasurable about using sunscreen products.  The simple smell of your favorite suntan lotion will carry you back to the great times you spent outdoors, usually on your holidays.  The fragrances in this category of products can either be pure, olfactive creations of what sun protection should smell like, or can be associated with certain evocative ingredients such as coconut, tiaré flower, vanilla…

The active ingredient in your sunscreen product will definitely orient the Perfumer’s work in the development of a sunscreen fragrance.  But just as important will be the evocative, olfactive power of his or her composition.  Those sunscreen fragrances that evoke nostalgia and summer memories, must also convey ultimate protection and safety.  Our creative teams have both bases covered and are ready to share some of their creations with you.
