SensoAqua™ is our platform focusing on the design of water-based formulations that are safer for people and planet, and that can allow for prolonged fragrance enjoyment. This technology is applicable for Fine Fragrances, typically alcohol-based, and Air Care Reed Diffusers, typically solvent-based. The results, especially in Fine Fragrances, are scents with greater performance, meaning they are much longer lasting. The benefit goes beyond base notes; the entire fragrance achieves superior longevity. Headd notes are known to be volatile, but with SensoAqua™, these fresh, top notes demonstrate true staying power.

SensoAqua™ allows our Perfumers to rethink the balance and creative construction of their fragrances. On this formulation platform, top notes can be addressed completely differently as they will now behave in new manners over a longer period of time. It’s equivalent to flipping the olfactive pyramid upside-down. SensoAqua™ opens the door to new creative opportunities, and virtually all olfactive families find their place in SensoAqua™ fragrances. The ingredients in the final composition might be the same, but the formula is reworked for prolonged perfume enjoyment.
