Compliance is everyone’s business
Compliance encompasses two important areas at Eurofragance: legal compliance and technical compliance, which themselves cover several topics paramount to running a sustainable business. The men and the women working in these functions are the superintendents of our ethical behaviors; the administrators of our procedures; the custodians of our raw materials; the managers of the quality we deliver; and the supervisors of the safety and security we live for. Their joint mission is to ensure your continued success and ours. At Eurofragance we seek to implement improvements and best practices across all departments and affiliates.

Legal Compliance
Eurofragance conducts business in accordance with the laws and regulations of the market it is present in. The company demands that all employees and partners respect the law and ethical guidelines. As much as possible, Eurofragance seeks to be forthcoming in its undertakings and transparent with its partners, including you, our customers. We treat the information of all stakeholders (internal and external) with confidentiality and expect the same in return. By doing so, we hope to foster mutual confidence and trust amongst all parties.

Two different Codes of Ethics
At Eurofragance, we have two Codes of Ethics, one for own, internal teams and one concerning our suppliers. As signatories of the United Nations Global Compact, we have aligned all of our operations and follow the Ten Principles of the charter that relate to: human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. With this in mind, Eurofragance has published a comprehensive Code of Ethics which “establishes the behavioral standards to be observed by Eurofragance in the performance of its professional responsibilities.”
Regarding our suppliers, they are expected to sign our Code of Ethics and adhere to its fundamentals, intended to safeguard people, planet and property. We hope that all involved will apply good judgment in everything they do, but mishaps can occur. To avoid these, or to properly address them, the Compliance Committee and the Internal Control Body (ICB) are responsible for verifying and enforcing the Eurofragance Code of Ethics.

Filing a report on our whistleblower channel
If anyone working with or within Eurofragance, be they a customer, employee, community member or any type of business partner is witness to inappropriate behavior relating to our organization, we ask that they immediately contact our Whistleblower Chanel. We see it as the duty of one and all stakeholders to report improper actions. The Eurofragance Whistleblower Channel is operated by an independent third-party provider and serves as a confidential venue to report violations to our Code of Ethics. Individuals who contact our Whistleblower Channel can remain anonymous if they wish.
Employee safety
We do everything possible to conduct business in a manner that respects people’s health and safety, and this extends from our supplying partners to the consumers buying scented products. The HS (Health and Safety) team at Eurofragance is fully committed to preserving the wellbeing of individuals. While important rules and protective measures are in place for all of our employees on all our sites, we go a step further by requiring that our suppliers adhere to similar practices.
Consumer safety
The Eurofragance Regulatory Affairs department ensure that the product we produce are safe and comply with the rules and regulations of all the markets where we are present. This requires an in-depth understanding of the legislation concerning both perfumery ingredients and chemical compounds. The department stays up to date on the appropriate legislation and restrictions that can vary significantly from country to country. To do so, we follow the IFRA Code of Practice, and the local laws in the markets we operate in. Eurofragance is also an active member of AEFAA and FFAS, both members of IFRA.

Product quality
To produce outstanding fragrances for your brands, we only source ingredients of the highest quality standards. The Quality Control team verifies quality parameters relating to precise olfactive characteristics. When perfumery ingredients arrive at any one of our production plants, we are the first to stick our nose in the shipment. We analyze batches of incoming materials against internally approved benchmarks and strict specifications of conformity. And, once we have produced your fragrance, before it ships out, once again, the Quality Control verifies that it meets the quality standards you are expecting.
Quality management system
The Quality Assurance and Environment team deals with the processes needed to produce superb fragrances. We constantly evaluate all the procedural steps from perfume creation to the delivery of finished fragrances, with a commitment to excellence and uncompromising quality.
We look to minimize waste and energy, wherever possible and follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management guidelines. The team is a transversal body that conducts internal audits on all our sites. Members of the team participate in the search for the root cause of non-conformity, implement corrective actions and evaluate their effectiveness to avoid recurrences.
