Barcelona, 20 July 2021. Eurofragance, creator and producer of fragrances, has received the ‘Segell d'Empresa compromesa amb la cultura’ (Seal of a company committed to culture) awarded by the Fundació Catalunya Cultura in collaboration with the Chair of University Social Responsibility at the University of Girona, recognising Eurofragance's constant work to support Catalan culture.

This is the first seal of prestige to give visibility to business actions that contribute to sustaining and strengthening culture in Catalonia and is awarded to those companies that work on a daily basis to promote the sector.  They must follow specific criteria drawn up by the organisation in which leadership, participation, quality and relevance of the company's activity in support and promotion of culture are paramount.

This award is valid for three years, after which it must be renewed following the same process and highlighting new activities developed by the company for the benefit of culture.

Eurofragance and culture

Eurofragance is a company that is committed to culture and it has been collaborating on different projects for many years.

During the most difficult stage of the pandemic, the company promoted the donation of hand sanitiser to support art and culture in Barcelona, at a time when it was very difficult to get hold of hydroalcoholic gel.  It also collaborated with the Liceu, Palau de la Música, CCCB, La Pedrera, Casa Vicens and the Barcelona Tourism Consortium, an action that contributed to the care and protection of visitors to these institutions.

Furthermore, Eurofragance is participating in the ‘Essencials’ solidarity project, an exclusive collection of signature scented candles inspired by six sectors of culture: cinema, literature, circus, music, theatre and museums, the profits from which will go to some of the main associations that make up this sector.  This initiative is in partnership with the candle manufacturer Cerabella and the newspaper Diari Ara.

In addition, the company demonstrates constant support with various annual actions such as hosting a photography competition to encourage artistic creativity in the company; sponsoring Barcelona Olfaction Week to promote olfactory culture; partnering with Beauty Cluster Barcelona, an entity that works to highlight beauty culture, perfumery and olfactory science; and maintaining a sponsorship initiative with the Teatre del Liceu, a leading cultural institution.
