Under the slogan "Together to Help our Communities," Eurofragance has celebrated "Community Week," a week that is part of "Community Day," an initiative in its third edition. Juan Ramón López Gil, Chief Financial Officer at Eurofragance who oversaw this year’s donation drive, had this to offer: “More than 4,000€ was raised by employees, and we decided the company would match this sum for a total of over 8,000€.”
This year, due to the continuing pandemic situation and the challenge of holding face-to-face events, as on previous occasions a project with a common theme was chosen, but adapted to the concerns of each of the Eurofragance subsidiary regions. Each subsidiary chose a local association to collaborate with and a cause to support. Donations have been made in the form of food or money depending on the nature of each organization.
, the Eurofragance head office chose to collaborate with the Red Cross and its project to help families affected by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma. The eruption began on September 19th and continues to destroy homes and livelihoods, greatly affecting the island’s inhabitants.
For this project, "Eurofragance with La Palma" was created, a collaboration space on the Red Cross website where every Eurofragancer was able to contribute to the cause by making a donation via a direct link.Solidarity and community support on a global scale
