Eurofragance has appointed Carlos Llorca as new R&D Director. In his new post, Llorca shall take charge of implementing the ambitious plan in the field of research and development that the company has set for the coming years. The company wishes to develop new formats and products that provide increased added value for its clients. This recruitment completes the reinforcement of the Management Committee of Eurofragance, that recently appointed Marta Moseguí, former Sony manager, as global Chief Human Resources Officer of the company.
Carlos Llorca holds a Bachelor in Scientist Chemistry and Computer Scientist both from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His post-graduate work on “Fragrance Essential Oils and their interactions with Bacterial Cell Membranes” is noteworthy. In addition to participating in multiple seminars on fragrances in many Latin American countries, he was a professor of “Perfumery” at the Association of Cosmetic Chemists of Argentina.
In his professional career, Llorca has had more than 25 years of success in the world of fragrance. The previous post the new R&D Director at Eurofragance held was as Fragrance Innovation and Technology Director in Mexico and Central America for the Swiss perfume company Givaudan. At Quest International Argentina, he held the post of Regional Research and Development Manager. Previously, he worked at Reckitt & Benckiser Argentina as Research and Development Manager and at SC Johnson & Son as a research scientist.
